CAMPUS ANNOUNCEMENT - Due to an uptick in COVID-related hospitalizations, if you are experiencing a fever, cough and/or other flu-like symptoms (sore throat, fatigue, runny nose, etc.), please consider getting a COVID test before coming to any Eastern location. Current CDC guidelines state that anyone who tested positive for COVID-19 can go back to normal activities when symptoms have improved for at least 24 hours and no fever even without taking fever-reducing medication like acetaminophen or ibuprofen.

Accreditation

In October 2008, Eastern WV Community and Technical College received of formal accreditation from��the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) as an independent, freestanding community and technical college. Following a second team visit to Eastern, HLC reaffirmed the accreditation in February 2014.
